Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the use of climbwise.pro and every commission accepted by Climbwise Tailoring Sdn Bhd (Company No. 202201029384 (1475632-H)). Placing a deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms.

1. Quotations and deposits

Every commission begins with a written quotation naming the cloth, the construction and the price. Quotations are valid for 30 days. Work begins on receipt of a 50% deposit; the balance is payable at collection. Prices on this website are indicative starting points, not offers.

2. Fittings and your part in the schedule

Bespoke work requires your presence. First commissions involve two to three fittings, which we schedule with you in advance. Where fittings are postponed by the client, the delivery estimate moves with them; we will always tell you the new date honestly rather than promise around it.

3. Timelines

Typical delivery is six to eight weeks for suits and three to four weeks for shirts from the date of the first measurement, subject to cloth availability from the mills. Wedding commissions are planned backwards from the wedding date and finished no later than ten days before it, provided the schedule agreed at consultation is kept.

4. The pattern and your measurements

Paper patterns drafted by the house remain the property of Climbwise Tailoring Sdn Bhd and are archived for your future orders. Your measurement data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and destroyed on request.

5. Adjustments after delivery

Garments made by the house are adjusted free of charge once within 12 months of collection, and at preferential rates thereafter. This covers changes in the wearer, not damage; repair work is quoted separately as described in our Return & Refund Policy.

6. Uncollected garments

We hold finished garments for 90 days after notifying you of completion. Beyond that we may charge reasonable storage, and after 12 months uncollected garments may be disposed of, with the deposit forfeited against work done.

7. Website use

Content on climbwise.pro — text, photography and design — belongs to Climbwise Tailoring Sdn Bhd and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. The site is provided as-is; we do our best to keep information current but do not warrant that every price or timing shown is free of error.

8. Liability

Our liability on any commission is limited to the price paid for that commission. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur. We would much rather resolve matters over the cutting table, and our record so far is that we always have.
