Two & three piece suits

The discipline the house was built on: a full-canvas suit drafted from your own pattern, fitted in the baste, and finished by the cutter who measured you.

A Climbwise suit starts as thirty measurements and a page of posture notes — the slope of each shoulder, the stance of the hips, which arm swings further when you walk. From those we draft a paper pattern that belongs to you alone. It is never scaled from a block, and it never leaves the archive.

The jacket is built on a floating canvas of wool and horsehair, shaped with an iron rather than glue. That is slower and dearer than fusing, and it is the entire difference between a suit that moulds to you over years and one that bubbles in its second monsoon season.

Expect two baste fittings on a first commission — three if your figure asks for it. You will stand in the garment while it is still white thread and chalk, which is precisely when a fit problem costs nothing to solve.

What is included

  • Personal paper pattern, drafted and archived in-house
  • Full floating canvas; half or quarter lining for the climate
  • Working cuffs, hand-set collar, hand-padded lapels
  • Two to three baste fittings and a final press inspection
  • Inlays for future adjustment; first tweak within a year free

Two piece commissions begin at RM2,800 and three piece at RM3,400 in mid-weight tropical wool; the written quotation is fixed before cutting. Allow six to eight weeks door to door.
